good morning

It's a bagel morning here at our house.

Four sesame.
Two everything.
Two blueberry.

There's just something about going out early on a weekend morning...quiet...peaceful. I like it.

Enjoy your day.

And you got 8! Way to think out of the box! Aren't you supposed to get 6 or 12???? I really get stuck on stupid things like that!!

I know, I'm crazy like that.

6 was just too few (I wanted enough for tomorrow) and 12 too many. Naturally, 8 just seemd the perfect number. ha.

Unfortunately, they crammed too many in a bag, resulting in the loss of many sesame seeds (sniff sniff).

mmmm... you hit the nail on the head! Since I had a baby, it seems like every morning has become an (EARLY) ritual of peaceful breakfasts. =)

My Katie loooves bagels. Like, obsessed with them. She will eat them every chance she gets, doesn't matter the time of day or how hungry she is. At nine, she now takes the toaster out and completes the entire toasting/spreading/washing plate/putting everything away so there's no trace of food process. She knows if she does this consistently, she is more likely to be ALLOWED to have said bagel. It could be 4:30pm on a Sunday, and she'll say "Mom, can I make a bagel?", with hope in her eyes. A "yes" yeilds a fist pump from her. If I say no, she is crushed.

No wonder she loves your family so much. :) xo

Carie is a bagel FREAK! She even has one of those special bagel cutters because she once sliced her finger open when cutting open a bagel. she had to get a bunch of stitches. Poor girl. If she just ate those really bad for you donuts that wouldn't have happened. I'm just say'in.
