Homemade spaghetti and meatballs and this crusty loaf of French Peasant bread, bought from a local bakery. I must say, I felt rather European as I perused the open shelves of Ciabatta, Brioche, Focaccia and the like, deciding finally upon this work of art. My dinner was accompanied by candlelight, the sounds of Chris Botti, and four lovely valentines whom I love.

There's absolutely NOTHING like good bread! Did you go to that bakery that's kind of by Boston Market on Grand River? I forgot the name of it. Jon gets stuff from there for special occasions. So good!
I went to Breadsmith...which one does Jon go to?
Carin-your heart shaped toast inspired me to be a little more creative with food, especially on days like today! XO
Oh that bread looks phenomenal! Great dinner to say the least!
