After dropping Savannah and Sydney off at school this morning, Somer and I grabbed a coffee at Starbucks and went for a drive through the nearby historical neighborhoods...how cool are those windows on the diagonal? and I just love the last picture of the little sunroom...I imagine chilly mornings there, hands warmed by a cup of coffee, watching the world come to life.
Later, around 10:30, I snatched the bigger girls from school, stopped by the movie store, and went home where the daughters and I made smoothies and popcorn, turned off all the lights, shut the blinds and watched our dvds all afternoon...because I have been working a lot. and they really do have great attendance. and, well, I just missed them.
it was heavenly.

I love the kind of Mom you are. They are three very lucky girls.
And I bet they will remember that day forever. Good for you.
Love you.

..also, closing up the house and snuggling and watching movies all day...the big girls and I locked ourselves in for an enitre weekend a couple of years ago...only going out to get pizza and chinese....
yes, it is off the main drag!
SMALL WORLD!
I think if you had tea at that last place, you would DEFINITELY need to speak only in a British accent while in the room. It would have to be a rule.
