Our little house was "christenend" Saturday evening when
we had family over for dinner...my brother Christopher (Bubby)
and his wife, Dahna, as well as my cousin, Brent, his wife
Joann, and two of their three daughters. Joel made yummy
fried chicken and mashed potatoes and later, the adults went
downtown for the East Lansing Folk Festival. Before that, however,
Bubby had to show me a few of his latest dance moves. as is customary
whenever we get together. Before long, everyone joined in.

This is my favorite post. Smiling so big because I've seen his moves a million times, and yet I wish I was there so bad to join in. I need a brush-up. Your place is so blessed now that Bubby did his moves there.

But then, I must say, Bubby spent part of his childhood in a group home...sort of! Yes, the boy has the moves...but I believe it is hereditary. I have some he has not mastered...and should not try without a long warm up, a series of stretches and a very dirty martini. He's ma' boy! Oh, and my word verfication is almost provocative...I'm not tellin' you, I'm just typin' it!

Too funny. Found your blog through Carissa's (brown eyed fox) and yeah, Bubby's quite cute. Looks like he's got a sense of humor too. And East Lansing Michigan? I'm in Grandville, near Grand Rapids, at least for now. Possibly moving out towards Carissa later this year. Anyway, love your blog. You take great photos. Oh, and i have that fun retro fabric from a few posts back. With the pink and orange and brown fantastic flowers. Haven't decided what to do with it yet. Have you? Maybe you'll inspire me. I think I've had it for over a year now. :)
