Aw, I loved this whole series of pictures! Thanks for posting them :) First of all, NICE RUG in Somer's room, that is awesome! And that was so nice of Joel to make a special breakfast for the Big Day. Savannah, Sydney, and Somer all looked great in their 1st-day-of-school outfits :)
Awww.... so sweet! I love how the outfits are so carefully placed... (my daughter is that way too).
Boys are so different though. Basically my 12 year old son sniffs his clothes to see if they're "clean enough" to wear, and then he gets dressed. It's merely a matter of CHANCE if they actually match. :-)
Your girls are absolutely ADORABLE, and so is your husband, for getting up to make home-made pancakes on the first day of school! So sweet! :-)
Adorable pictures...I love that last one with her on the bus...my goodness that is precious!!!
Way to go on fighting your little ticket...I got in an accident two years ago caused by black ice and I rolled my vehicle with my children and my mother in law in the car...they gave me a ticket...failure to control my vehicle...I fought that one and WON!!!
I love these pictures......it looks like our house the night before with outfits everywhere! I love the one of Sav putting her lip gloss on! 6th grade all the way!
Oh I loved those! The last one made me cry - and also the one with Somer holding big sis' hand across the street. Growing up! wah, and yeay at the same time!

BEAUTIFUL PICS! They all look so happy for school. Sweet.
SO cute with the outfits all laid out (the only one who does that around here is James)
XOXO Kim
PS I took a pic of James' first day of school too--hee hee
OMG-they all look sooooo happy. Love the 'growing up' comment, that is PRECIOUS!
They really are growing up. Somer looks so happy, so proud. Those pics capture the first day of school PERFECTLY.
Jenn's word: Priceless

really good shots.
and oh boy do i recognize that lip gloss thing!
ugh.
i am so sick of lip gloss, sunglasses and hair brushes.
kind of. :)
great photo journaling.
oh. I just can't even imagine when my bug goes to school. Do you worry that kids will be assholes? That is what I am most afraid of.
Those pics are heart-breaking in a really wonderful way. I remember so much of that...laying out clothes, oh boy sixth grade. Good stuff.
