....couldn't sleep. Sipping hot tea and listening to Nora Jones. It's 6am and
completely dark outside. And raining. A delicious morning. Fall is coming.
I can't wait.
There's something about being up before anyone else, is there not? I turned a
cozy lamp on. Lit a few candles.
Check out this website...you can create your own "radio station". I typed in
Nora Jones and it plays continuous music similar to nora. artists like kt tunstall.

Off to make a list now...stuff I want to get done today. Like organize Somer's
closet/playroom. Order pictures. Plan meals for the week. Finish signing the
127 pieces of paperwork the girls brought home from school....

Oh I love those first signs of fall. Love the way I feel when I am cozy inside, yet it's chilly outside. One of my favorite feelings. Enjoy your quiet morning.
The only thing missing is a blanket and you curled up on the end of the sofa! What a wonderful morning!

Fall hasn't hit yet...but I look forward to those rainy Sunday mornings!
I've always loved getting up early.... in fact, whenever we go to the beach, I make it a point to get up pre-sunrise and go out on the beach with my camera, take some snaps of the sun coming up over the water, and have some alone time with God. (It's the best... just love it.)
Early morning is my favorite time of day, because it's chock full of POTENTIAL. And I love that. A fresh, clean slate, each and every day.

I LOVE being the first one up! It is so calm and peaceful. Too bad Jon wakes up SUPER early, so I'm almost never the first one up, haha :)
me too me too me too. I had to drive alone to church early this morning and the whole way I was wishing I was thinking that this was a morning to stay home cuddled in a blanket!
i too love the early morning... so love it... the only thing... i don't like to get up early! :)
