oh, she knew she was fabulous...just knew.
and can I just say I will cry heaps of tears when these shoes are
retired. raising three little girls has just been pure...bliss.
this girl is just full of personality...I cannot even tell you.
funny thing is...I can actually see her being a real hippie some day.
in fact, she already is...it's just her spirit. she just screams peace.

this brings back so many memories! we used to parade around pierce school every year. it was the highlight of the day. neighbors would come out of their houses to watch the festivities.
one year my friend jennifer marched around the school in the same plastic shoes as somer...just shufflin' around like an old lady.
way to go on the REAL halloween costumes...they look so happy and proud!
that first pic of somer. she looks like a beauty queen...like she's tucked her little hand in that pilot's arm and is being escorted around, waving, smiling, throwing candy. she's a beaut. and syd's first car is gunna be a vw van. and she's gunna rock it.
The very fact that she ditched the store-bought wig proves that she is already well on her way to hippie-hood. Hippies are just comfortable with themselves the way they are. I love it!
And awesome dress "to wear again"! How perfect!!!
I love Somer's wig - so funny! Why do kids in wigs crack me up so much? I couldn't stop laughing at Lainey's Sacagadorothy wig. Love it!
Somer and Sydney look like they're having so much fun!!!
I thought the same thing when I saw Somer..."is her hand tucked into the boys arm ahead of her?" She's a doll!
Can't wait to see Savannah!
Love the plastic princess shoes! My heart longs for those shoes to be worn at my house. Plastic princess shoes, American girl dolls with outfits bought at a craft show, stepping on Barbie shoes in the middle of the night, searching for the perfect matching head band on the way out the door in the morning...
But it seems to be that I'm destined for trucks and trains, stepping on Matchbox cars in the middle of the night instead of Barbie. I love it none the less. But those shoes...they make me smile.
okay there was a parade!!!!!
that is sooooo neat... love that... gives the kids more of a chance to truly enjoy their costumes!
one awefully cute hippy chicky!
