Nice pics. Nice of you to share them. Your girls are beautiful.

I am so glad you all were together to celebrate your daddy's 60th.
Families are the best.

When I look at these photographs, when my heart sifts through my memories, when I see my children and their children...I realize how rich I am. I am a rich man, yes I am. I love you.

Long time stalker, first time talker. Hello, pleased to meet you! I stumbled across your blog a couple of years ago...a friend of mine followed Kulio and that's where I found your blog along with Kelle's. If you've noticed any hits from Saskatchewan, Canada over the years, that'd be me. Yes, I'm the only one who lives up here. I finally got around to setting up a Google account because I've been threatening to start up my own blog (title page...check...content...no checky check for me) I must say that I'm happy you started writing on a regular basis again because I adore your honesty and raw descriptions of life. Keep going, my friend. The world could use more of you. A few other things:
1. Love your recent snaps of your beautiful daughters....WOW.
2. Your idea for wall art is pure genius.
3. Because I rarely use a filter for my thoughts, I must tell you that I sort of hate you for how magnificent you look in a bikini after having 3 children. WTF. I mean, congratulations - thank you for the inspiration. Now I'm off to dig out my elliptical. I'm confident that I'll break into a cellulite-purging sweat just clearing away rubbish to find said machine.

Love these-such classic photos. Glad you were able to get down there for a bit. Good for the soul...to be with a sister.

Wonderful pictures. Janita - you took the words out of my mouth"I must say that I'm happy you started writing on a regular basis again because I adore your honesty and raw descriptions of life. Keep going, my friend."
Feels good to know others go through similar feelings and intentions.

I do like your blog and honesty. A refreshing change from the completely phony blog of your attention seeking sister.

I think that the message for all of us is 'to be true to one's own self'.
All that we can truly do is to take what God gave us and build on it.
We're all different. Different qualities - both good and bad.
We need to believe in ourselves and do the best we can.
And lean on God - He will lead the way.
Love you bunches, Dear C*

And honesty-seeking Lisa, I do hope when you selected your senior pictures you told the photographer, "While that pose really makes me look pretty, I am choosing this one that shows my crooked nose and zits cause I'm really real!" If this is really you, phony up, pony up, cuz' ya' kinda make everyone throw up a little in their mouths. Compliments that include putting another down really aren't compliments at all. It isn't becoming on you. Be more.

Saw the link to this blog on another blogger's site. I think what is most sad is Hampton's obvious need for praise and confirmation. What is even worse is her constant advertisement and exploitation of her children. She's obviously trying everything in her bag of tricks for a reality show. What some parents won't do for money and fame to fulfill some void.

To have the power to pen words of inspiration, to assemble some letters that lift spirits and encourage hearts, and to surrender that precious opportunity and instead, from veiled anonymity, to send out a virilent critique, based on a bystander's view, so mistaken in their "obviously's", so cruel in their supposition. Further evidence that women's fiercest enemy is always...another woman. Invest your energy, focus your living on things that help and not hurt. Do your research into the heart, the home, the true essence of who you are determined to bring down...and perhaps, you might be a friend and not a foe. By now, I am sure you have moved on to hurt another woman...because you must be hurting yourself. You are in my thoughts, and they...are hoping good for you.

Poppa Rik!! I wish I had half of the wisdom that you have. In time, perhaps I will (hopefully)! You and your entire family are the most down-to-earth people there are! Seriously. And although I only "know" you through blogs, you all have beautiful, pure souls. It makes me really ill to have to read what others say about Kelle. You are so right..women are so critical of each other, and it shouldn't be that way. Lift up, don't tear down.
By the way, I would totally watch a reality show with Kelle on it! :)

Hugs,
Deanna

Wow, I am so amazed by the women out there with hate in their hearts...so sad!

Carin and Kelle are amazing women and mothers. How lucky we all are that these 2 positive, classy women allow us into their lives through photos and their brilliant writing.

It is so obvious that these girls come from very loving parents who raised very loving girls.

To those of you who weren't as blessed as Kelle and Carin, I will pray for you in hopes that you find peace in your hearts and through that, a positive attitude.

To Carin and Kelle, please don't let these negative women get to you. Continue with your blogs, photos and writing, you are inspiring so many people!! Don't let a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch!
