my new bag

check out my new bella bag, made by my creative cousin, Tracy and her mom. The fabrics are like candy (amy butler)...I'm thinking of some pillows in the orange pattern, then again it also comes in apple green. If interested, they're coming soon on etsy for $40.

oh, I feel loved

it looks like a cupcake...but when I opened it I found this and a beautiful collage of pictures from my blog.
I received all this in the mail this week, along with a beautiful note and starbucks card. There were even little rhinestones at the bottom of the package. Oh, I feel loved. Thank you, thank you Heidi...I so needed this. You are so thoughtful and kind.
I am touched.

Kresge Art Museum

"The artist speaks to our capacity for delight and wonder, to the sense of mystery surrounding our lives; to our sense of pity, and beauty, and pain; to the latent feeling of fellowship with all creation--and to the subtle but invincible conviction of solidarity in dreams, in joy, in sorrow, in aspirations, in illusions, in hope, in fear…which binds together all humanity."

creativity

"Sometimes, you've got to let everything go - purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything...whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out."
