I started reading "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" last night to the girls. They were smitten at page one, their little eyes growing large as I compellingly described the naughty acts of Imogene, Claude and Ollie. Then, to my delight, I found them this morning committing the most wonderful of naughty childhood acts...they were sneaking a peek, too impatient to wait until bedtime to know more of these misfit lives...greedily devouring the words of the story.
"Books to the reading child, are so much more than books - they are dreams and knowledge, they are a future and a past." Esther Meynell
