It is late...1:42am, to be exact. Just submitted an essay that took a pot of coffee to complete. It's funny, when homework looms, it seems even the most undesirable tasks become desirable. Like killing fruit flies. Sorting mail. Even an episode of Hannah Montana would have seemed more appealing. But, I managed to finish and now I can't sleep. So, I will post this pic of my eldest who just turned thirteen. I am now the mother of a teen-ager. She is the coolest. Happy 13th, Savannah Joy. I love you. Deeply.

Hahaha, I totally know what you mean about finding other things to do besides what you "should" do. I usually end up making a magazine picture collage to send to Emma, ESPECIALLY if the deadline for the other thing is really close.

Carin, my son just turned 12 today and I'm in shock that 12 years just flies by...I miss my new born, but I love my relationship with my 12 yr old too, so mature and fun. Just tooooooo fast!
I shed a few tears realizing my first born is 12!!

What a great pic of your daughter...it is unreal to have a thirteen year old. I have one as well! What are you going to school for? I am attending a University also...working on a BBA! It's challenging with kids. Keep up the good work!
