I took my two eldest and their super cool friend, Sami, to a Lady Gaga concert Saturday night.
It was the bomb.
We screamed.
We danced.
We laughed nervously at the swear words.
And, later, teared up at her message.
Yes.
She had a message.
A really good one.
About love.
About being enough for yourself.
About being brave and being whoever it is you want to be.
Afterwards, we headed to Papa's for the night, where, just before bed, we we lit a big sky lantern and watched it soar into the night...all accompanied by Bad Romance, of course.
It was a really good night.

You are SUCH a cool mom! I had a ticket for lady gaga last month and I freaked out at the last minute with all of the stuff on my to do list and sold the ticket to a friend. TOTALLY regret it.
